To new beginnings!! June 2nd, 2014

Breakfast:
3 eggs over easy + salt & pepper
4 pieces of applewood smoked bacon
1 small sweet potato
1 cup of bullet proof expresso coffee
(1 tbs grass fed butter + 1 tsp MCT oil)
2oz Vemma

Snack:
4-5ish handfuls of pumpkin seeds (in shell with sea salt)

Lunch:
1 1/2 chicken breasts w/ garlic powder + cumin
8oz? butternut squash
8oz brussel sprouts
2 tbs of Barney’s almond butter

Snack:
1 Spicy “Nick’s Sticks” (paleo beef sticks)

Testing:
A. Shoulder press, build to a max: 120# (5# PR!!!)

Notes: Felt great, and almost got 125#!

5 rounds for time:
12 power cleans, 105
6 shoulder-to-overhead, 105
Time: 7:00min flat
Notes: Breathing was the only issue–weight felt fine, only thing I would have changed would have been starting with reps of 3 on the power cleans.  Shoulder-to-overhead felt pretty easy even with my pathetic breathing. 🙂

Dinner:

1 1/2 pieces of cod w/ lemon pepper + minced garlic
1 bowl of california blend veggies
1 bowl of Bubbie’s bread & butter pickles
2 tbs almond butter
Randomly ate 3 eggs before bed.. I should have ate more food today!!
